Customer Service Checks at Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner

Our practice is to check, often more than once shortly after a meal is taken to a customer whether everything is in order. If there is a problem, however small, please raise it with the waiting staff and we will do something about it for you. On the rare occasion that your meal is not up to our usual standard we will replace either items of your meal or your whole meal. We want you to enjoy your visit here. If an issue is raised after you have eaten your meal and you have received a service check then the opportunity has gone and whilst we’ll listen and take on board genuine feedback we will not make any refund.

Customer Service Checks - Accommodation

Please note that being a 16th century country inn, all rooms – whist being equipped with the same facilities unless otherwise stated -  vary in size, so if you require one of the larger rooms for whatever reason, please ask when booking, and we will endeavour to match the room to your needs, subject to availability.

Similarly, we will check that everything is all right with your room, with you, when you arrive and during your stay. If there is anything we can help with e.g. show you an alternative room if available, then please do not be shy and ask. Give us the opportunity to make your stay special while you are here.
